Assistant Project Manager – Wisconsin

Responsibilities
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting in managing and coordinating project timelines, requirements and logistics. The Assistant Project Manager is key to ensuring accurate materials are delivered to IVI and customer locations in a timely manner and meets expectations.

- Work with Project Engineers, Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and Estimating to complete accurate estimates.
- Work with Shop Foreman and Purchasing to order appropriate materials and hardware for jobs. Ensure all appropriate hardware goes with each shipment.
- Actively follow fabrication projects through shop to ensure accuracy, timeliness and quality.
- Coordinate with Shipping/Receiving and Project Management to ensure they are aware of shipments that either need to be scheduled or those that have been scheduled by the customer.
- Estimate off of drawings and various softwares.
- Material take off from drawings.
- Assure that the project is executed with the proper materials and that the work is performed in accordance with the drawings, specifications and contract documents.
- Maintain and complete project manuals.
- Documents management.
- Update Salesforce with project-specific data such as estimated hours, sell price, and key milestone dates.
- Assist with project setup and change management processes in Procore.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, ethics, and compliance requirements at all times.
Education Requirements
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent work experience
Experience Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience working in a construction environment preferred
Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with Autodesk products, Solidworks, SalesForce, ProCore, and Bluebeam a plus
- Experience with project scheduling tools and labor tracking systems.
- Knowledge of estimating software
- Knowledge of CAMDuct is a plus
- Construction and contracting experience a plus

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
