Whether it was the handful of employees in our modest beginnings to where we are today, each team member goes above and beyond and is dedicated to the same goal: Finding the best air quality and material handling solutions for our clients. IVI’s low turnover ensures our team of experienced designers, fabricators, and installers have the intellectual knowledge and industry expertise to handle any design-build project.

CEO, Gerry Auler, began his career as a sheet metal apprentice and eventually moved up through the ranks to become a field and shop foreman. In 1985, Auler became the head of the industrial ventilation department of a large mechanical contractor. In 1993, he left to fulfill his vision of forming a sheet metal company specializing in the industrial ventilation field – today known as IVI.

Operations and Administration Team

The key to IVI’s operations and administration team is simplicity. The company’s management is flat, providing project managers with decision-making power and direct contact with the client. It is an operation run on the shoulders of its talent.

Engineering Team

Our engineering team is diverse, providing even the smallest project the ability to access to on-staff expertise across disciplines including:

• Civil/structural engineering
• Electrical engineering
• Environmental engineering
• Industrial engineering
• Mechanical engineering
• Tissue/pulp and paper
• Nonwovens and diapers
• HVAC

The engineering team is involved in the initial conceptualization of a design-build project as they begin developing a customized solution for you. They follow the project through to completion as project managers, keeping the lines of communication open among the project teams. Our engineering team is also trained on:

• OSHA compliance
• Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) compliance
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance
• Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations
• National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) regulations

Design Team

IVI’s designers work hand-in-hand with our engineers, fabricators and field installation team, acting as the bridge between concept and build. They use the latest technology to provide the accurate engineering plans and airflow analysis diagrams. Their tools include AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, CosmoWorks and FloWorks.

Shop Team

Our experienced craftsman and journeyman have the training to perform the most complex metal fabrication. From stainless steel to galvanized, or aluminum to mold steel, our welders and fabricators are an integral part of each project – often lending hands-on expertise to the engineering and design teams.

Field and Installation Team

IVI’s field and installation teams consistently come with the highest recommendations in the field. Led by an installation project manager, our team is known for its efficient and expedient work. Their years of on-site experience have provided a systematic and detailed approach to working in partnership with the client’s team. Their goal: to reduce downtime so you can get back to doing what you do best.
