07-02-09 Jason Tucker, Safety Director

Jason Tucker has joined IVI as the director of safety and health. In this role, Jason will be developing and designing new processes and procedures that will promote a safer working environment. Jason has over 8 years of progressive experience in health and safety management. His career background included overseeing safety at a steel fabricator/erector with over 500 employees and planning, designing, and implementing a safety program at this company. He has instructed a variety of training courses related to safety, health, and environmental, including the OSHA 30 hour course. Additionally, he is a certified instructor in forklift operations, hazardous material handling, and OSHA 501. He is certified as a nationally registered emergency medical technician/paramedic.

07-02-09 Chris Schmitt, Project Manager

Chris Schmitt has joined IVI as a project manager. Chris has over 19 years of experience in the industrial ventilation field. In addition to attending annual training courses related to his professional field, Chris has attended training related to lean techniques, leadership, and the supervision of personnel.

03-03-08: Dick Pence, Sales Engineer

Dick Pence has joined IVI as a sales engineer. Dick will be interfacing with customers and looking for new business opportunities for IVI in all sectors of business. Dick has a BS in electrical engineering. Dick brings 19 years of paper industry experience with a major paper machinery OEM to this new position.

04-07-08: Jeff Tessen, Tool Crib Assistant

Jeff Tessen has joined IVI as our tool crib assistant. He has over 15 years of experience in logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment. He will be insuring that our shop and field personnel have the necessary tools, materials, and supplies.

04-21-08: Lisa Dixon, Accounting Assistant

Lisa Dixon has joined IVI as an accounting assistant. She will assist the accounting, purchasing, and drafting areas with daily activities and special projects. Lisa has worked in a variety of settings, including education, retail, and manufacturing.

01-14-08: IVI attended the CastExpo in Atlanta

IVI attended the '08 CastExpo in Atlanta, May 17 - 20. Team IVI was located at Booth# 3417, and was visited by many participants who learned about IVI's recent high-profile projects and leading-edge technologies in the area of industrial ventilation.

01-09-08: EPA publishes Industrial Ventilation Contractor's Employment Act

EPA just published the Industrial Ventilation Contractor's Full Employment Act of 2008 (aka NESHAP for Iron and Steel Foundries Area Sources) in today's Federal Register.
